Students learn emergency patient assessment, Basic Life Support (BLS), Healthcare Provider CPR, trauma response, patient stabilization, and emergency preparedness through classroom instruction, crisis simulations, first aid experiences, and ambulance ride-alongs. Following College of DuPage guidelines, the program prepares eligible students to pursue the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification exam upon meeting program requirements.
